In Loving Memory of Tristan.
With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Tristan, a beloved husband, and devoted father. Tristan’s untimely departure has left his wife April and their children Isabelle, Willow, and Alana, with a profound sense of loss and grief.
Tristan was a remarkable individual who served his country with honour and pride in the navy. His commitment to his duties and his unwavering dedication to protecting others was truly commendable. He exemplified courage and selflessness, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Beyond his military service, Tristan was a loving and caring husband to April. Their bond was one of deep love and understanding, a partnership built on trust and mutual respect. April will forever cherish the memories they created together and hold Tristan close in her heart. As a father, Tristan was a pillar of strength and guidance to his children. Isabelle, Willow, and Alana were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Tristan’s legacy will live on through his children, as they carry his values and love in their hearts.
Tristan’s sudden departure has left a void in the lives of all who knew him. His kindness, compassion, and infectious laughter will be greatly missed. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the impact he made on those around him.
In honour of Tristan, a memorial service will be held to pay tribute to his life and to provide comfort to his family and friends on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 2:00 pm, in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. It will be followed by a reception from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, at Trafalgar/Pro Patria Legion Branch 292, entry/parking lot off 411 Gorge Road East, Dunedin Street, Victoria, BC.
May Tristan find eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with April, Isabelle, Willow, Alana, and all those affected by this profound loss.
Rest in peace, Tristan. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I was your biggest supporter and cheerleader for everything u did. From your first steps to joining the navy and becoming a dad to my beautiful granddaughters. You were also the first grandson to a navy grandfather proud is not a big enough word for how he felt. U were loved and spoiled by us all. My heart is broken never to be mended

A.Marie Surette Sending my Deepest Condolences to April and their three Children, Tristan’s mom Carla, his brother Luke and sister Rhianna. My heart breaks for their you all. I have so many memories of Tristan growing up with my son Michael, and their many friend here in Lower Sackville N.S. Tristan was a sweet, very funny young man that left to soon. One of my memories is when Tristan went out on Halloween with his friends when they were in their teens, Tristan was dressed up as Superman. He was so cute and funny. R.I.P. Tristan.
It was a joy to watch your love grow so strong over the years April. I believe your true love will be watching over you and the girls now and for always; he’s just sailing in a different sea. So sorry I was out of town today or I’d have been there for Lorraine and your dad. Bless you.
