McCUSKER, Syd – Born in 1955 in Vancouver, BC. Died at home on September 25, 2008 surrounded by those closest to her. She is survived by her husband, Emmet; daughter, Bree; stepdaughter, Meghan; mother, Mish and grandson, Declan. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Lesley; brother, Grant; nephew, Duncan and many others. A special thanks to the Palliative Care Team and her friend, Kate Rubin, for all their support in assisting her reach a peaceful end after a two year battle with cancer. Syd always saw the best in the people close to her. Her unwavering support, love, and guidance will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m.
