Stephen Peter Gregory passed away peacefully on April 13, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital in Victoria, B.C.Peter, the son of Percy and Molly Gregory, was born and raised in Princeton, B.C., on November 30, 1915. He joined the RCMPolice in February 1940 and served in many locations in Nova Scotia from 1941-1953 and latterly in B.C. from 1953-1965. He received the RCMPolice Long Service Medal and Bronze Clasp for 25 years of service and the Civilian War medal for his service during WWII. He is survived by his sister Barbara Ewart and brothers Mark and Richard; his sons Garry (Lynne), Matthew (Katherine) and daughter Priscilla (Wayne) Buck; grandchildren Mark (Jennifer), Morna, and James (Stephanie) Gregory, John, Daniel and Catherine Buck, Stephen (Laura) Gregory, Angela (Jared Brown); great grandchildren Mitchell and Carson Gregory, Jackson Brown and longtime friend and companion Berneice Wood. Peter was predeceased by Dorothy, his wife of 25 years, in 1970, and by his second wife Jessie Gertrude (MacDougald), married in 1971 and passed away in 1980.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 2060 Haultain St., Victoria B.C. on Thursday, the 20th of April 2006 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
