Judith Blakeston Sharron was truly at the heart of the Cowichan Valley University Women’s Club. An efficient and cheerful organizer with the energy , enthusiasm and commitment so important in a volunteer organization ( in this case committed to raise funds to further the education of young women ), Sharron supervised our yearly bridge luncheons with skill and good humour. The Christmas parties at her home for our members were legendary.
I know other present and former members will remember her fondly as will the students and her colleagues in the school district. With Gary and her family, we will celebrate her life and cherish our memories of her.

Linda O’Neil Dear Gary, Melinda and Kevin.
Ken and I were deeply saddened to hear if your mom’s passing. We will forever treasure all the good times our families have had together over the last 45 years. Sharron was a dynamo; always lending a hand, especially during hay season, weddings, wood cutting and especially at Christmas putting up the farm tree; it was all hands on deck. She will be missed.
Our love to you all and your families.Linda and Ken

Evelyn Toombs Dear Gary, Kevin, Melinda and families.
Our love and deepest condolences.Sharron was one of the first friends I made when we moved to Duncan in 1979. And a true friend she was. Always caring, helping out whenever needed, making her delicious cinnamon buns for family and friends…the list could go on.
Sharron was like family to us. We had many fun times together. The four of us enjoyed many holidays in Maui. Great memories to look back on.
We will all miss her dearly. She holds a special place in my heart.
