It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sally Jean Miklic on May 22, 2014 at the age of 68. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cowichan Golf & Country Club on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm with memories being shared at 3 pm.
The family wishes to thank doctors and nurses at Hospice for the amazing care they provided. Donations in Sally’s name may be made to Victoria Hospice & Palliative Care Foundation, 4th Floor, Richmond Pavilion, 1952 Bay Street, Victoria, BC, V8R 1J8 (donate online here).

Janis Beecroft Sally always has a special place in my heart. I worked with Sally at Oak Bay Lodge in the early 80’s. Sally was always kind to me showing me the ropes as I learned to work in this envoirnment. She was the one I looked up to, seeing her kindness to the residents, she was so compassionate and aways cared that the residents dignity was intact. This very special lady will greatly be missed by her family and friends there is no replacing the big heart Sally had. Janis Beecroft

Janice Vogel Dear Stan and family,
Please accept our warmest and most heartfelt condolences on Sally’s far too early passing. It is a painful loss to all who loved her and whose lives she touched. However, she planted her seeds of goodness and kindness in her children and grandchildren, and she will continue to live on through them.
Stan, your love for each other and the married life you shared serve as valuable examples to your family and those around you. May you all take comfort in the wonderful memories you created together.
