PETTIGREW, Ruby Anna (nee Pollock), born in Listowel, Ontario on January 9th, 1906 passed away peacefully at the Central Care Home, Victoria, BC on December 28, 2003. Resident of Biggar, Saskatchewan from 1910 to 1941. Relocated to Vancouver Island, residing in Victoria for most of her years.
Gone but not forgotten, her husband of 63 years Robert (1986), three daughters; Audrey Lowe (1989), Melva Jean (1929) and Irva Marianne (1926). Two grandchildren; Shannon Underwood (1991) & James Sheen (1975).
Lovingly remembered by 3 sons & 7 daughters: Arnold Lowe, Lorreen (Wally) Reid, Bob (Eileen), Helen (Peter) Ferguson, Verna Jenkins, Pat (Leo) Shields, John (Karen), Beverley (Chuck) Underwood, Sharon (Doug) Hunt, Brenda (Dann) Sheen & Bill (Cathy); 33 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
The Family wishes to extend their heart felt thanks to the staff at Central Care Home for the loving care given Mother during her residency.
You are invited to share in a Celebration of Ruby’s life at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Glen Priebe presiding. A reception will follow in the Graham & Torrey McCall Family Centre. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Ruby’s name may be made to: SIDS, Cystic Fibrosis or the Canadian Red Cross.
