Anne Moon Roy was the first person I met when I moved into St. John’s Court. He was visiting his buddy Mike and held the door for me! He was always quietly appreciative at our celebratory dinners and BBQs and I know he was a comfort to Mike, who sadly has had another major loss in his life.
I am sorry for your loss and hope you know what a kind man he was. I know Mike would be happy to hear from you.

Art Cooper There were a few of us that hung around together. Two, besides me were Doug Dutton and Roy Kendall. We all used to do our own top 10..and even top 100 songs that we would discuss and even print out. I moved on to a broadcasting career where top 10’s…top 100 hits became a part of my life. Even when we graduated we still got together occasionally. Roy and Doug have passed on but I have my memories of our times together. Thank you for our time together Roy..you were a good part of my lufe

Cathy and Terry Roy was our next door neighbour for 32 years. He’d always let us know when he was going away for any length of time, which was often, as music festivals were a big passion of his, & we enjoyed hearing about his many adventures over the years. He had many admirable qualities & will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.

Steve Willerton Hey Roy, you were a good friend and generous soul. You were always there, music in hand planning the next festival or concert. Let the band play on. Rest in peace.

Robert Wellings Rest in peace Roy. We met in school and had a long friendship. Friends like that are not easy to find, our lives took us in
different directions but we always kept in touch. We both grew up in Victoria and shared many of the same interests. I was
blessed to have a friend like you.
I have had only one male best friend all my life and that is roy.to me he was most generous to all whom he met and seldom ever asked for a favor in return.last dialogue with Roy I had while in hospice,I told him we loved him.that was my last talk with roy.most people live life in the fast lane in today’s world.roy had a lotta patience in today’s livestream and I wish more people could follow his role. In final remarks,Roy loved Pop music and radio surveys from KRKO,CKWX and CFUN and KJR and his own Big 6…he liked Humble HArvey as a DJ and like me every SAt.the countdown of the Funtastic 50 survey with the redhead,Red Robinson. We will always remember ROY who loved Pat ODay at Channel 95…kJR and his FAb 50…and Roy loved Tippy Toeing by the Tim Harden trio…rest in peace,my dear friend.
