Matthews, Rosemary – passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospice on March 31, 2002. Born on June 15, 1931 in Sussex England, formerly of Rockwood Ontario, she is survived by her mother, Elsie Gillett; son, Barry; daughter-in-law, Nancy and her beloved grandsons, Greg and Jeff. She will be sadly missed by her companion and loving caregiver Gordon Aikman and her two dogs Miss Vicky and Rush. Thanks to the wonderful staff at the Victoria Hospice. Service of remembrance will be held in McCALL’S SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Saturday April 6, 2002 at 2:00 PM immediately followed by a reception at the Country Park Club House, 7583 Central Saanich Road. A reception will also be held for the many Ontario friends at the Mississauga G&CC on Sunday April 14, 2002 at 1:30 PM. Eulogies welcome.
