HOBBIS, Rose Anna Louise
With great sadness the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Rose Hobbis, born in Cupar, SK, died Victoria, BC. Proceeded by her husband Ronald and son Bernard. Survived by all who loved her: Amber, Barry, Bev, Bill, Bob, Chelsea, Cheryl, Craig, Darren, Dave, Dena, Elaine, Erik, Erin, Fran, Gabi, Isibelle, Jan, Jason, Jaxon, Joel, Jonah, Kari, Kathrine, Rose, Kellie, Ken, Kerry, Kristin, Marcus, Nicki, Rachael, Rhonda, Rod, Sam, Sarah, Scott, Shane, Shea, Steve, Tanner, Terry, Tervor, Trevor, Troy, Zoe. Rose was active with the St. Alban’s Parish and woman’s auxiliary for over fifty years. A member of the Victoria Stroke Recovery Association for many years, and a Victoria Jaycette. You may remember Rose serving you at The Bay cafeteria or the Naden Canteen. She will be missed by her many friends, who always found her to be a kind and caring woman. A special thanks to the caring staff of the Aberdeen Hospital and the Parkwood Court.
At Rose’s request, a service will be held for family and invited friends at a later date. May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. May you be half way to Heaven before the Devil knows you’re dead.
