February 14, 1925 to November 29, 2008, suddenly at the Victoria General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife, Gladys in 1995, he is lovingly remembered by three daughters, Florence (Al), Kathryn (Ray) and Susan (Mark); seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, their families and many friends and fellow comrades from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 54, Sooke. Friends may pay their respects at MCCALL BROS. CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets, on Sunday, December 7th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted at HATLEY MEMORIAL GARDENS, 2050 Sooke Road, on Tuesday, December 9th at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Sooke Branch No. 54, Royal Canadian Legion, 6726 Eustace Road. Flowers are gratefully declined, tributes, if desired, may be made to the RCL Poppy Fund.
