Palmer passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. He is survived by his wife, Violet, and children Debra, Doug, Brian and Kevin, and grandchildren Christopher, Hailee, Hannah, Jonathan and Jessica. As a veteran of WW II, Palmer took great pride in his wartime service. He took equal pride in his work with BC Hydro, where he remained till retirement. Above all, he took pride in his family and friends, who were with him till the end. His great affection, frank opinions and strong sense of humour will be missed by all.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, 740 View St. (at Blanshard) on Friday, Jan 18, 2008, 12 noon.
