It is with our deepest sadness we announce the passing of Oscar Archibald Young, of North Saanich, BC, on December 25th, 2020, at the age of 77. Oscar passed peacefully at home with family at his side.
Family meant everything to Oscar. He will be lovingly remembered as a loving husband to Joan for 55 years, a wonderful Father and role-model for his three sons, Sean (Vera), Rick, Jason (Deanna), and a fun-loving Grandpa to Kelli, Blake, Zachary, Kyla and Emma.
Oscar is survived by his sisters Ruth (Lloyd), Jeanette, brother Marshall (Fay), numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends.
He is predeceased by parents David and Jennie, step-father Everett, sister Audrey and brother Roy.
A Celebration of Life and burial will take place at a later date in Saskatchewan when Covid-19 regulations allow.
The family respectfully requests that Oscar’s obituary or link to it not be shared on any form of social media.
