Art and Norah Harfman Our sincere condolences to the McHattie family. We didn’t get to see Olive often but so enjoyed her company when we did. She was always so full of fun and laughter with such a great sense of humour.

Allan and Beth (Squance) Haythorne We are so very glad that we became better acquainted with Olive in these last couple of years. Her smile was such a welcoming and cheering addition to the Mt. Newton Day Centre.
Our connections with the Turner family go back a long way, and, more recently, with Jeannie and Helen at the Butchart Gardens.
Our sympathies are with the whole family.

Jacquie Tarasoff (nee Myers) Peggy and family. So sorry to hear about your mom. I remember going to the halloween bonfires in your backyard back in the 60’s! Sounds like your mom had a great long life.

Gillian Harper (nee Hickman) Sending my thoughts to the McHattie family. My mother grew up on the Saanich penninsula as Olive did, and I often heard stories of the Turners and the times they lived in. My mom always enjoyed seeing Olive at the Fairgrounds each September and remarked on her hard work and dedication to that cause. Always a smile and kind word from your dear mom. She will be missed dearly by all she touched.
