WRIGHT Mary Frances (nee Bennett) – Peacefully on June 10, 2009 in Victoria, BC, in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband, William Derick in 2005 and her daughter, Doreen Wright in 2000, she is survived by her son, Glenn (Debra); two grandchildren, Shannon and Graeme; her nieces, nephews and their families. Mom was a private person who loved her family, swimming, skiing and dancing. She will be greatly missed by all. A Graveside Service will be held at the Gardens of Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery, 15800 32 Avenue, Surrey, BC on Wednesday, June 17th at 1:00 p.m.

We were saddened to read in the Obituary Column of the Gazette about the recent death of your Mom. We have so many fond memories of the years that “The Wrights” lived next door and the many good times we shared, especially conversations over the fence in the back yard, about anything and everything and usually starting or ending with laughter.
