Sadly, our dear mother died at VGH in her 99th year after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband Kelly and sister Dorothy Ellis. Heartbroken and left to grieve are her brother Bill Plumb; children; Bill, Pat (Gary), Bob (Kathy), and Mark (Gail). Grandchildren; Karen, Kevin (Jen), Meriah (Scott), Suzanne (Jeremy), Krystal, Jodie, Meagan and her great-grandchildren, Kiana, Lukas, Torin, Tayah, Leeyela and Bishop.
Marion was born in Winnipeg and moved with her family to Victoria, BC. Raised by a single mother during the Depression, she attended Margaret Jenkins and Victoria High School and graduated as an RN from Royal Jubilee Hospital. She took pride in her nursing career.
Marion met her husband Kelly at a dance during the War and raised a family of four in Victoria. Devoted parents, and active in their children’s Catholic upbringing, they were a role model for us all.
Mannie had class. She was unpretentious down to earth homemaker, who found life exciting and enjoyed it with style and elegance. Marion loved children, especially her own. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a joy to be with and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Private family interment and memorial.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

Lorraine Saunders The last of the Arnot Avenue ladies. I have good memories of your mother, mine and Mrs. Buckmaster sitting together in the livingroom giggling over something and, of course, playing bridge. My thoughts are with all of you.

Maggie Comerford Reimer I still fondly remember the home movies that were made of our families…something about a tea cup being broken when the dishes were being done..and Auntie Marion had to play the role of being mad about it….I remember too Mark’s Christening movie… We had a great Comerford family and Aunty Marion was the darling of the family..beautiful inside and out. I so loved her..still do. My condolences to you all.. Margaret
