BOEHM, Madeline Perpetua (nee Dukart) (August 17, 1912 – December 6, 2003) – passed away peacefully at Mt. Edward Care Home with her husband and daughter at her side.
Madeline was born in Allan, Saskatchewan and was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Marianna; her brother, Mike; and sisters Katherine, Annie, Bertha, Anna Mary and Rose. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 65 years, Frank; daughter, Elaine (Jim) Vye; grandchildren, Nick (Cindy)Vye, Lisa (Phil) Minns, Jim (Laura) Vye, Jennifer Vye; and her precious great grandchildren, Courtney and Zachary Minns. Madeline loved and cherished her family. We all remember trips she and gramps took us on, outfits she made us, haircuts too. Fresh homemade bread and butter topped off with the homemade milkshake. She always put her family first. Cooking, baking, gardening, sewing -she could do anything.
She was the best wife, mother, Nana and Oma – Courtney will feed the birds for you.
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Institute of the Blind in Madeline’s memory.
We all love you and we will miss you, dear Madeline. A very special thanks to the nurses and staff at Mt. Edwards for their excellent care and compassion during her stay.
A visitation will be held at McCall Bros. Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
A private funeral mass will be celebrated at St. PATRICK’S CHURCH. Cremation entrusted to Royal Oak Crematorium.
