Louis Peter Schleppe born on July 18, 1920 passed away peacefully on July 24, 2006 in Victoria, B.C. Lou was well known in Victoria during his working years as “Lou’s Lawnmower and Locksmith Service”. A very picky man around town…. His retirement years were spent in Bowser, where he had a view of the ocean he loved. While there, Lou made his fame playing darts in the Legion, and cajoling with all the other Lions in the den at Qualicum Bay Lions Club. Lou was an avid fisherman and hunter. His fondest memories were of his time spent at sea trolling for the big one, and hunting in the interior for deer and moose with his “pals”. Lou will be missed by his sisters, Johanna DeCosta & Angela Elerik, his brother Andy Schleppe, as well as numerous neices and nephews. Now that you’re past the rough seas Lou, don’t let the big one get away!
A memorial service will be held at Hatley Memorial Gardens, in the Garden of Calvary, prior to interment, on Wednsday, August 2 at 1.00 P.M. Friends and Family are invited to celebrate Lou’s life with us.
