It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Perry announce her passing. Lorraine was born in Vancouver and grew up in the James Bay area of Victoria. Her parents were Percy and Florence Frampton. She leaves behind her two sons Price and Ward, her sisters Ruth and Betty, her daughter-in-law Monica and brother-in-law Dave, and her two wonderful grandsons Dylan and Simon.  She is predeceased by her beloved brothers Fred and Don. She cherished her nieces and nephews and their children and always enjoyed the company of her work colleagues, neighbours and friends.

Lorraine always took the time to look after others and her caring warm smile will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

Lorraine graduated from Victoria High School in 1955 and then went on to graduate from the RJH Nursing School in 1958. She was proud to be involved in nursing and made many lifelong friends during her career. After retiring, she remained active enjoying gatherings with her high school classmates and by volunteering and contributing to the RJH School of Nursing Archives Museum project for a number of years.

Her interests were many, and she travelled extensively during her life and she was especially fond of the trips she took with Bill, a longtime companion and a dear friend of the family.

Most of all, she was proudest of her two boys Price and Ward. It was from Lorraine that her two sons inherited their creative spirit, compassion and a great sense of humour.

“Be at peace Mum … Your love is eternal and we will always see you in the sunshine.”

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ALS Society of BC https://www.alsbc.ca/donate/.
