Keith passed away peacefully in Victoria after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. During a life well lived he travelled the world, gathering many friends and loved ones along the way. Originally born in England to parents Irene and Frederick Andrews, Keith loved riding the iconic red buses and diligently train spotting to explore his home town of London. Moving to Canada at age 18, he lived with older brother Richard, sister-in-law Margaret and nephew Ian.
Arriving in Toronto he soon met the love of his life, his beloved wife Judith (nee Allen), and together they raised two children, daughter Jennifer (Roger) and son David (Trang). Throughout their 56 years together Keith and Judi lived in Canada, UK, Italy, and Slovakia, and travelled to every continent on the globe including Antarctica. Keith loved to be on the move, learning to fly gliders and planes at an early age, navigating his Fiat 131 White Lightning across eastern Europe before the advent of GPS, and cruising across the Equator, the International Date Line and the Tropics multiple times.
Keith was so incredibly proud to be Papa to his two grandsons Benjamin and Owen, and loved spending time watching them play basketball, flying plane simulators with them, and holidaying on the west coast of Canada during the summers as they grew up.
Keith will be buried in a ceremony at Royal Oak Burial Park, 4673 Falaise Drive, Victoria, on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, and would also like to say a profound thank you to the care staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.

John Kendall Dear Keith It is still the present and future tense for me as I need to have more conversations about a guy who had a really interesting and fulfilling life that I had just glimpses of . I trust we will have that opportunity. Not knowing what was happening in Sidney on the 11th of October 2024, I was moved to say prayers for all at Shoghi Effendis grave in London, your home town ! Chuck Floyd Keith was a unique individual. He always kept his sense of humour even when under stress. Our friendship remained constant and steady over the past years. If Keith and Judith were away on a long trip, upon their return our friendship did not miss a beat. He was a joy to be with.
Sincerely,
Gail and Chuck Floyd

We have been thinking about you all week and it does not get any easier. I (Christine) think back to when we were just kids all those years ago. They were good times.
