With sadness, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Keith Peters, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend on June 11, 2023, at the age of 70. He loved his family fiercely, and right up to his last moments protected us from the harsh reality of life. Keith will be immensely missed by his wife, Janet, his children, Kimberley (Damien) and Donald, and granddaughters, Sydney, Elizabeth, Olivia, and Avery, his best friend Gordie Rands, as well as his Rands family brothers-in-law and extended families. Keith was predeceased by his brother, Wayne, mother, Dorothy, and father, Gordon.

Keith was a lifelong Victorian. In his youth, he could be found on the soccer pitch, on the golf course, or on an adventure with Gordie. His love of golf stayed with him into his later years and inspired his children and granddaughters to play. Keith was an amazing man, one of a kind, and was always willing to help, his passing has left an unfillable hole in our lives. Grandpa’s red love heart pancakes and Friday school pick-up muffins will be irreplaceable for his granddaughters, or as he called them, ‘his girls.’

“Our love for you is greater than words and the pain of your absence is beyond measure. We miss you today and we will miss you on all of the tomorrows. We have tears in our eyes and our hearts are filled with great sorrow. We will hold onto the memories of the great times we shared and grieve for what we have lost but we are oh so grateful for the life we had. Love you forever”.

A service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Keith’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Diabetes Canada.

Keith is the kind of man no one will be able to forget. He was a great brother-in-law to me and a wonderful uncle to my children. Keith will now be with Wayne and his Dad together forever. I am sending prayers and condolences to Janet and the family. We love you all.

So sorry to hear this sad news .I still remember great times with the Peters and Rands golfing at Cedar Hill . I will always remember Keiths softball style swing .

When we bought the Water Store from Keith and Gordie, Keith offered to stay on for two weeks to introduce us to the customers and make sure he was leaving it in good hands. At the end of the first week he left saying that he was satisfied he had made the right decision and he transitioned from owner to loyal customer. He was always forthcoming with advice on anything we asked…a true gentleman.
    Keith will surely be missed

Uncle Keith you’re an amazing man! It was always fun going to your house for a visit and playing video game golf! I’ll always remember our hunting trips and that ugly brown van you had back in the day! Say hi to dad, grandpa and grandma. I’m glad you’re all together again! Love you!
