With deep sadness, the family shares the news of Josip’s peaceful passing on Sunday, August 15 with his beloved wife Ljubica (Violet), family and some friends by his side. He will be lovingly remembered to all that knew him as a kind, gentle, caring and respectful man.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the full team of medical professionals for guiding his care. Specifically, but not exclusively to, Dr M. Mentz, Dr G. Geller and Janis F. with Community Health Services.
The service will be held at St Leopold Mandic Croatian Parish on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11 am. Afterwards, he will be laid to rest in the mausoleum at the Royal Oak Burial Park.
Fulfilling Josip’s wishes, in lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the BC Cancer -Victoria Centre who extended his life for almost 9 1/2 years.
