John died peacefully on November 2, 2022 in Victoria, BC. He was born in Montreal, QC on October 8, 1934, to Randolph and Elizabeth Howe.
John was predeceased by his parents.
John worked as a public servant in the Federal Bureau of Competition for many years. He was also a proud and accomplished artist who was a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. His medium of choice was oil painting. John was also a passionate world-traveller and had visited many locations where he would take photos and gather inspiration for his art. One of the places he frequented often was North Africa.
There will be no formal service for John; friends and colleagues are encouraged to remember and honour him in their own ways.
