Chuck regarded John very highly. They had many deep discussions about God’s word while wielding a paintbrush. Their fellowship was sweet.

Mac My condolences to Jody, Matt, Nicole and Michael. Fond memories of sailing in the Comox Bay on August long weekends with the family when the kids were young with Sylvie and Alan.
John was a fanatic audiophile and loved all the arcane tweaks to his systems to get that better sound.
John is with our Lord and Saviour.

Christine Mackenzie I’ve had a lot of admiration for John over the many years I’ve known him, since 1986, he always strove for the best quality in everything he was passionate about.
I’m thankful for the many years of support, stimulating conversations and friendship I received from him.I have fond memories of feeling welcome and connected to others during the years I attended home group in the family home. He was one of the first friends I had when I moved here which means a lot when you’re new, he was so good at that.
My thoughts and prayers for all of you as you continue to stay connected in your bond to him, in a different way.
Love you all.
