It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather.

Carrying his beautiful spirit forward with them are his beloved wife of 68 years, Lois, his three favourite daughters, Shannon (Rod), Shelley (Steve), Heather (Bob) and grandchildren, Owen (Dillan), Lindsay, Stuart, Georgia, Sarah, Jenny, Kevin (Shannon), Casey (Michelle) and family pets.

Jack grew up with his brother and FIVE sisters in Millet, Alberta. He married his precious “Sugarplum” in 1957 and together they fulfilled their dream when they moved with their young family to Victoria in 1970.

Jack spent the majority of his career as a realtor employing his outgoing personality and was a trusted advisor to his many clients.

He was a kind man, devoted to his family and a true friend.

Jack had a sparkle in his eye and a great sense of fun. He loved to laugh and sing and could turn any occasion into a good party. Even dementia could not diminish this.

Jack’s legacy is the limitless love that flowed without condition or question to all those whose lives he touched.

Many thanks to the staff at Mount St. Mary Hospital and Dr. David Clinton-Baker.

“Your memory is our keepsake with which we’ll never part.

God has you in his keeping we have you in our hearts”.
