Joanne was born and raised in Victoria and graduated from Vic High. She is joining her parents Harvey and Viola, and her husband Donald. Survived by her son, Alex (Caitlin); sisters, Janet (Brad) and Jacqueline (Brad) and her nieces and nephews.

Joanne was an Avon rep for over 20 years. Enjoyed her craft groups, helping with South Island Pets Team and getting together with her sorority sisters. She always supported her son racing and being involved with the various racing clubs. She will be missed.

    I am so very sorry to read of Joanne’s passing. I have many fond memories of the Barr family going back as far as the Shell days on Ellery St. I know Joanne will be missed dearly by Alex whom she was so proud of. My Sincere Condolences to all the Family.
