Born on April 12, 1941 in Chatham, Ontario, Jessica went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2024 with her husband and her daughter present at her bedside. Jessica is predeceased by her parents Dorothy and Arley Penfold and her beloved son, Arley Leghorn. Jessica is survived by her husband Jerry, her brother Joe, her son Jeff (Yulia), her daughter Beth (Grant) and her grandchildren Joe, Polina, Dausha and Nadya. Jessica was a member of Harbour View Church where she had many dear friends, especially her angel Shirley.
Thanks to the doctors and staff at the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s Renal Unit for their care of mom.
A memorial service will be held in March 2024.

Hi Beth. This is Pam Cunningham (Brady). I don’t know if you remember me. My sister just passed the news of your moms passing. I’m so sorry to hear this. She was a great lady, very kind, giving her time to everyone. Raising what I remember great children. I was also shocked and saddened to see that Arley had passed before her. He was always kind enough to pick me up and take me to your house for bible studies. Thinking about you, hoping that Jeff, you and your families are doing well.
