I am so shocked and sad to hear this news, Nina. You may remember me and my husband John Evans – we were clients of Jim at RBCDS in the days when you and he first met, and we got together socially with you both on several occasions, which we always enjoyed.
Sadly, John died in May last year, less than 2 months after Jim.
I am coming to Victoria in mid-May to sort out some financial matters, and had hoped to see you both. Sadly, Google led me to this listing, with details of your loss.

If you read this, please let me know if you would like to meet up. Meanwhile, I send condolences, and a big hug.

    Hello Nina:

We were astonished and sad to read in yesterday’s paper of Jim’s death. We wish solace for you and your family. We will miss the sound of Jim puttering around in the garden behind our new fence. We hope the Spring garden against it is lush, reflecting your mutual labour and love of it.

    Your behind the fence neighbours,

    Pat and Doug Woodall

We are so sorry for your loss Nina – he was always enthusiastic whenever he started on a project. a memory of the apartment when you came the first time – walls covered with the designs of various WW II aircraft, then his keen interest in the model flying club.

The world is a little smaller today.

    Condolences,
    Bob & Jennifer Burgis
