    Dear Michael,

My name is Lynn Sabourin and for 40 years I worked at the North Shore Unitarian Church, which is where I met your Mother and Father. I kept in touch with Irene by phone once or twice a year when she moved to the island and she was still on our mailing list. When we got some returned email last week, we tried to find out about her and eventually thought to look for obituaries on the island. While it is sad to lose a Mom, I know that it is wonderful that she had a good long life. Your Mom wrote the church newsletter for a number of years and I remember how much she enjoyed scribing for the poet, Dorothy Livesay.
You must have so many memories of your dear Mother; she was a kind and gentle soul and I will remember my conversations and interactions with her fondly.

    Warmly,
    Lynn Sabourin

My family has been exchanging their tributes to Aunty Irene and are grieving together, the aunt, who loved to have cousins, nieces and nephews around. She welcomed them all and was a tower of hospitality. We shall miss her.
