Inge passed away peacefully at The Priory on September 3, 2022.
Predeceased by her husband Rudi of 59 years, 3 years ago on May 1, 2019. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Jeanette.
Inge was born in Berlin, Germany, to parents Paul and Marta Lasrich. She moved to England in her early 20’s, and in 1956 left Liverpool on board the Empress of France for her journey to Canada where she met her husband Rudi in Victoria.
With her life well established, Inge enjoyed ten pin bowling, long walks with friends, taking care of the books for the business, and well into her 80’s had a passion for fine cooking where she hosted many large dinner parties for dear friends. Everyone looked forward to her special meals.
A special thanks to all of the staff at The Priory and at The Gorge – Bridgeview Unit who were extremely caring and understanding. That extra touch of making her laugh made her days brighter.
