It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Graziela Fragoso Chaves. Predeceased by her husband, Carlos Chaves, and parents Jose and Maria da Luz Fragoso. Lovingly remembered by her children; Humberto (Grace), Pam, Tony and John. Grandchildren; David (Beth Ann), Rosa, Michael, Angelo and Jessica. Great Granddaughters; Melinha, Valentina and Bella. Sister Dina (Manuel) Nogueira, and many Nephews, Nieces and friends. Graziela was born in Cabouco, Lagoa, Sao Miguel Azores. Graziela was kind and loving to all she knew. Always ready to give a helping hand. Graziela’s sense of humour and love of family will be deeply missed.
A Prayer Service will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC, on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 7:00pm, with Fr. Alfredo Monacelli officiating.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, BC, on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 10:00am, with Fr. Eduardo daSilva Santos, celebrant. Burial will follow at the Royal Oak Burial Park.
Deeply loved and never forgotten.

I will cherish all the wonderful memories I have had with Grace and her family since 1990 and will miss her dearly. Angelo will miss his loving Vavo.
