Our family sadly announces the passing of Gordon on August 31, 2024 at the age of 69 years old. He was born in Victoria, BC and lived in the same house his entire life . He was an early adopter of home videography, often exploring the city and its events with his heavy video equipment of the day and his still camera. Gordon enjoyed the challenges of repairing and MacGyvering  things, whether it was his collection of  cars or a small appliance. He established his career of over 30 years at  BC Ferries beginning as a  terminal attendant then as a ticket agent before retiring as a tower controller.
He is predeceased by his parents and eldest brother David. He will be missed by brothers Michael, Bill and sister-in-law Donna. Also remembered by nieces and nephews Nancy, Ed, Shirley, Grace (Vince Parkinson),Vincent,  grandnephew Andrew and grandniece Kira.

A public urn interment at Royal Oak Burial Park will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm, followed by a private family gathering as per Gordon’s wishes. My deepest sympathy to all of you for the loss of a most lovely man. Gordon was my landlord for many years, and so kind and sweet natured. He was quick to drop by for a chat about the state of the plums, pick figs and peaches to take back to his mom, remove insects or rodents, and hang out for tea or a snack. He was calm and thoughtful, and had a keen sense of humour that I really appreciated. He will be missed and remembered.
