Cathy Dalton I was saddened to hear Uncle Gord had passed. I will always remember how well he lived life no matter the circumstances – he was full of humour, fun and exuberance and he was a joy to be around. He was the type of person who is easy to miss and my thoughts and prayers are with you Elaine, Michelle, Wendy and families. May you be comforted by the good memories and the beautiful impression he’s left behind, and by knowing you will meet again.

Scott and Tina Belbin My heartfelt sympathy to Elaine Michelle Wendy and family.
It was sad when we got the call that Gordon had passed . He had a relaxed and positive attitude and enjoyed life. He didn’t take things too seriously was always encouraging and made friends in all areas of his life. He was a great big brother and always took care of his family. He will be missed and will treasure precious memories of him.

Barry Cull We are sorry for your loss, Aunt Elaine, Michelle and Wendy, and family. Uncle Gord was more of an inspiration than he likely ever knew. As a kid, I quietly watched and admired his grit, steadfastness, and determination.
With the physical issues his cancer had left him as a child, he had every reason to spend his life feeling sorry for himself, sitting on his couch. Instead, he was a constant fixture at swimming pools, tennis courts, and bike paths, amongst other venues, as well as at church.
I look forward to meeting him on the other side, and seeing what he does with his new body. I have a feeling I won’t be able to catch up to him.
Blessings to you all!

Clifford Cull My Condolences to Elaine, Wendy, Michelle and families.
Gordon was always so positive and full of life. It inspired me as a young man. I have so many great memories of he and I going to the MEWs Center or Aquarena in St John’s for a swim and a game of squash. Tennis in the summer and camping.
It was always a race between Gord, Scott, Myself and Barry to be the first into the lake for a swim when we arrived at a park. 🙂
Gord had many challenges in his life but none of it kept him down. He grabbed onto life and ran with it.
Just as the saying goes “you can’t keep a good man down.”
Gordon’s life was a life well lived indeed.Gordon will be missed and the memories he have left me has made life a little easier as I have had to deal with my own medical problems. Gord, you were an inspiration and you always left people feeling better after having been around you.
Farewell my friend until we meet again.

Calvin Belbin. It is with sorrow that Carolyn and I extend our Sympathy and condolences to Gordon’s family . However, we also draw comfort in knowing that he served the risen Lord and is now in His presence.
I knew him from boyhood days and we spent time together as opportunity provided. While Gordon went through major health challenges in his youth, he and his family put their trust in God, persevered and he went on to live a productive life.
