Loving husband, father and grandfather Francisco (Frank) Cabrita passed away peacefully on January 16, 2021. Frank was born in Paderne, Algarve, Portugal on May 18, 1939 to parents Joaquim Cabrita and Elisa da Conceição. In 1959 he came to Canada and lived the rest of his life in Victoria, BC.
He leaves behind the love of his life of 55 years, wife Lisete, children Antonio (Aurelia), Anita (Moses) and granddaughters Sophia, Athena and Amelie.
Frank was a construction worker that dedicated many years to the District of Saanich. He was a kind, caring, hard working devoted family man. Frank enjoyed spending many happy hours tending to his pristine garden. He also loved watching Portuguese Futebol (soccer) matches with a good cup of coffee, however Frank was happiest when surrounded by his loving family and for this he will be greatly missed.
A special thank you to Dr. David Woodley for his exceptional care and support over the years. Thank you to nurse Karen Christie from Homecare and the caring staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private service will be held for immediate family on January 21, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Fatima Parish then interment at Royal Oak Burial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the BC Cancer Foundation http://www.bccancer.bc.ca/donate

will miss that familiar answer, pretty good.
