Emanuel was born on January 10, 1980 in Victoria, B.C. He passed away peacefully at VGH on February 28, 2020. The youngest of four children to parents Jose (passed away 2017) and Maria Evangelina and brother to Ricardo (Kristina), Roberto (Sara) and Lisa (Jerry). Emanuel was also an uncle to Alyssa, Mateo, Sydney, Tiago, Aryana, Mya and Cristiano.
Emanuel was an angel sent to our family from God. Though he was born with severe mental and physical impairments, his will to survive accompanied by his mother’s undying love and care allowed Emanuel to live far longer than medical professionals predicted.
Emanuel will be sadly missed by his entire family (too many to mention). He will remain forever in our hearts.
We wish to also thank the compassionate care workers that helped with Emanuel’s care for so many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 4635 Elk Lake Drive, Victoria, BC on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park.
