Joni Wells My heart is broken by Betsy’s passing. Betsy was such a kind and gentle, yet fiercely strong woman whom I admired and learned so much from during the time I had the pleasure of working for her. Lots of people come and go in your life but only a few have an impact that can be felt and seen for the rest of your life. It’s been nearly 18 years since I worked with Betsy, but I still see a lot of her influence in my work habits. I credit much of my success to things I learned from Betsy. She was so good to me back then and we kept in touch through the years and she was always genuinely interested in how my family and I were doing. I will miss her terribly.
Gerry, my heart aches for you. The love you had for Betsy was so obvious and I know she loved and appreciated you so much. Please know that you are in my thoughts. I’ll be in touch soon. Take care.
