Edna passed away in The Priory during the early morning hours of October 9, 2021 after a long battle with dementia, at the impressive age of 92. She was born May 15, 1929 in a farmhouse close to the town of St. Boswell’s, Saskatchewan.
Predeceased by her husband, Arthur Morgan in 2011; parents, Adam and Mary Busch; brothers, Elmer, Ervin & Harold Busch; sister, Mildred Gusella; niece, Melody Gusella; nephews, Duane Busch & Randy Korb.
Edna is survived by her children, Colin (Sarah) Morgan and Heather (Jeff) Hancock; grandchildren, Christian and Owen; her sister, Lorraine Korb, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nephews and great-nieces.
Edna and Arthur met square dancing in Calgary, Alberta. Arthur was promoted and transferred to Victoria, BC in 1979. They made their home in Sidney, BC and surrounding areas. After Arthur retired, they returned to square dancing and enjoyed it immensely until Arthur’s passing. Edna was an avid reader and passed her love of reading on to her daughter.
A Celebration of Edna’s life will be held in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

From Emma Busch: (cousin through marriage). Sorry to hear about death of your mother, Heather. I have fond memories of the past when we could be together. Rudy and I enjoyed home style visits to share memories with your parents. I am now 94 and living in a seniors’ residence in Red Deer.
