Douglas Marshel Westfall passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023, on his sister Jean’s birthday.

Doug was born December 15, 1955. He is survived by his sister Jean (Terry) Janzen. Predeceased by his father Leslie Westfall, grandfather Wilhelm Peters, older brother Dennis Garth Westfall, and mother Gertrude Peters Westfall.

Douglas worked at London Drugs in the warehouse in the shipping and receiving department for 42 years. He then moved to Vancouver Island four years ago. In his spare time, he loved to do woodworking and tinkering around in the yard.

    I’m so sad to see this. I started working with Doug at London Drugs when I was 17, and he was one of the most friendly, easygoing faces among a sea of more ‘abrasive’ folks there, which was a huge help to an insecure kid… Far too young, but he will be well-remembered and missed.
