Linda Knight My sincerest condolences to Deb and all the England family. I have many fond memories of Sunday school class with Mrs. England /candies from Mr. England’s pockets – and being welcomed at the house when hanging out with Deb. May the many warm memories soften the pain of grief – as time passes.

Mary Broughton I was saddened to read about Donna’s passing. I have so many fond memories of her and Dave. Donna had the most generous, giving heart of anyone I have known. The many years of kitchen duty at Camp Imadene will always be with me. My grand babies were the recipients of her talents at quilting and will be treasured. A beautiful person all around. You will be missed Donna.

Nathan Turner You will be missed, but not forgotten Grandma. When I am cross with someone I flick my fingers together as you would have when you where cross with us. I am blessed being the grandchild you spent the most time with. You have truly shaped me for the man I am today.
Thanks for everything, I know you’ll be missed, and hopefully we will all see you one day later.

Chris Magel Donna was a member of Victoria’s Quilts Canada, Victoria Branch for a number of years and was a quiet but very interested member. Gifting quilts to people with cancer was a mission she shared with all our members. She will be missed.

Liz Turner Grandma, we will all miss you but it gives us some comfort knowing you are reunited with grandpa Dave and are up in heaven!
I only lived in British Columbia til I was 5 years old but one memory that really stands out to me is going to the marigold house and playing grandmas piano!
Oh how I wish I could hear grandmas voice one more time!
I love you grandma!

Philip and Mardee (Saunders) Nickerson Our sympathies to the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers during these days of your sorrow. We always enjoyed seeing and chatting with Donna when we were in Victoria. May you know the true comfort that comes from the Comforter, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Matthew Turner A grandmother is someone we can confide in or rely on for unconditional support. They are a window to the past and the connection to our distant family members. We were incredibly sorry and saddened to learn about the passing of Grandma England. She was a woman like no other, and we will remember her always ( I wish I knew how she made that amazing orange dessert). And of course just as Grandma constantly reminded me growing up I will continue to “have patience “.

Maria Hill Donna was a sweet lady and loved by all who knew her. She had a heart of gold and was always making things for all the babies at the chapel and spreading Jesus’ love. She will be missed.

Paul and Marg We will all miss Donna’s lovely smile and her chuckle. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God comfort you as you grieve your loss, even though you rejoice knowing that Dave and Donna are reunited in God’s Presence.
Much love,
Uncle Paul and Auntie Marg
I’m so grateful to have known Donna and her family since I was a young girl. We saw her as a woman that loved God with a steady strength and calm, with a heart of compassion who chose not to step back from the need and was a blessing to so many.
Our thoughts are with you.
