Cynthia Louise Gower, beloved wife, thoughtful mother, educator, and friend, peacefully passed away on September 12, 2024, at the age of 58, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 26, 1965, Cynthi was a passionate educator, earning a Master’s Degree specializing in teaching students with challenges.
Her dedication to her profession impacted the lives of countless students throughout her career. She also enjoyed her days in the sun and most of all, spending time with her family. No matter the circumstances she continuously spread positivity and kindness throughout her life.
Cynthi was predeceased by her parents, Alec and Elizabeth (Betty) Gower, and leaves behind her sisters, Cathie Thompson and Julie Larkin, along with many cherished friends and relatives. She is survived by her loving husband, Rob Burton, and their cherished twin daughters, Ava and Sienna, who reflect the love and commitment of their parents.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing she watches over those who love her, with her radiant smile and generous spirit.
A private interment will take place at Royal Oak Burial Park.
