ANDERSON, Christina (Chris) Gailley passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle in VGH, on December 4, 2003, with her family by her side. Predeceased by her husband and best pal, John “Jack” in 1996, Chris is survived by her daughters, Heather (Kelly) of Victoria and Dawn of Vancouver; she also leaves her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Sheila of Victoria; her sister, Jean of Scotland; Goddaughter, Jackie of Scotland; and many relatives and friends in Victoria, Montreal, Scotland and Ireland.
Chris was born on February 15, 1935 in Barrhead, Scotland and emigrated to Canada with Jack and Heather 1964. Chris spent many years working at Hudson’s Bay Wholesale and Acme Supplies. Chris was a PM of Esquimalt #41, and a member of Victoria #17 OES.

A celebration of Mum’s life will be held at KNOX PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 2964 Richmond Rd., in Friday, December 12, 2003 at 2:30 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined. Those wishing may make donations in Mum’s name to Victoria Hospice, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of ones choice.
