Alan passed away peacefully on January 15, 2023 in Victoria BC. He was born on March 15, 1956 in Hong Kong.
Alan is survived by his wife, Saline, and his son, Hilton. He will be greatly missed by many other relatives and friends both here in Canada and back in Hong Kong.
Alan and Saline married in 1987 after meeting while working together at a restaurant. They decided to move to Calgary in 1995 to start their family. While his son was in school, Alan worked both overseas in China and later in Canada to support his family. In retirement, his greatest pleasures were reading his novels and going for walks in the lush Victoria nature.
A ceremony remembering Alan’s Life with close family and friends was held in the Redwood Chapel at McCall Gardens on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
