BROWN, Bette – After a brief illness, Bette passed away at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on November 2, 2003. Born on October 3, 1907 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Predeceased by her husband, George; sisters, Annie and Ella, she is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lorena (Garth) Graham and Janice (Bruce) Fennell; grandchildren, Greg (Jen), Leona (Manie), Glen (Susan), Neal (Victoria) and Denise (Jim); eight great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
Bette was a member of the Eastern Star and a lifetime member of the Daughters of the Nile.
A funeral service will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Friday, November 7, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Conservatory of Music or the Gizeh Shriners of BC.
