Fred MacInnes To Gordon and family. I did not know Annie we’ll, but she was very warm and helpful to me when I was in desolation after her brother George died suddenly. He and I were like brothers during our Mount Allison, Halifax, and Camp Shilo days of the 40’s and 50’s. I send my sincere condolences.
George was a brilliant student and engineer and he spoke of Annie so often I felt I knew her.
If son George would like photos of his namesake, send P.O. address and I will send them as they surface.

Mary-Lee Page (Lee) I will always treasure the happy memories of times together with the Cann family. Anne was the most gracious and generous hostess and her home was a welcoming haven of peace and love. There were times when people were seated at tables in the dining room, the living room and the kitchen for wonderful meals that Anne generously shared.
Her smile and warm hugs helped a countless number of people in times of sorrow, in times of turmoil and in times of happiness in many communities across Canada.
I will forever remember with gratitude all the times she uplifted me.
My love and condolences to all the Cann family. I know God will be with you in your journey, now and always.

Janet Mahoney I was saddened to read of Anne’s passing. I worked with her at the old VG Hospital in Halifax over 36 years ago, before I moved to NB. We were both from Cape Breton, so had that connection. We shared many good times as co-workers and I remember her fondly. Please accept my condolences.

Gardia Voerman Ann was such a lovely person and made everyone around her feel comfortable. She was kind, welcoming, and gracious. Such a privilege to have been in her “orbit” for a little while. Those years at Knox are memorable for a lot of reasons, and she’s part of that. Condolences to Gordon, Mary Lou, Kim, George and all the family.

Dear Gordon:
So it was 1957 Christine and I travelled to Blues Mills area to tie the knot for you. I think yours was my first wedding; it was a great honor. Did the task well, didn’t we. Had great stuff to work with. I married a Presbyterian also.
May the days ahead be blessed with all those elements that help you learn to live without your best friend. God will bless you and give you peace.
Cheers and stuff, Christine and Bruce
