McCOWAN, Ann Marguerite (nee Beadnell) – Born January 21, 1935, died September 14, 2003. Ann died as she lived on her own terms. Predeceased by her husband, Donald; sister, Sylvia Stewart; and her parents, Charles Beadnell and Kathleen Stein, she will be sadly missed by her daughter, Dawn (Bruce) Peters and grandchildren, Cheryl, Adam and Johnathan; son, Larry (Krista) Hobday and granddaughters, Darien and Drew. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth MacFarlane; brother, Robert Beadnell, nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Ann worked for 20 years with T. Eatons. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #172, the Victoria West Lawn Bowling Club and the MacAuley Point Dog Walkers.
It was Ann’s request that there will be no service. Her children ask her friends to join with them to share their memories on Sunday, October 5, 2003 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Victoria West Lawn Bowling Club, 407 Alston St. (behind the Leonardo Da Vinci Centre).
