Angus was a gentleman, a scholar and above all, a true friend. I loved spending time with him because he was always kind, encouraging and supportive.
Angus was also a Great-grandfather to Tanner and Bailey; he seemed to relish the boys boundless energy, but was also just as prepared to read a story, or to share his artistic talents.
I will never forget how strong Angus was, he seemed to have super human strength and endurance. I recall one 12 hour fishing trip where Angus kept pace with me, never stopping or slowing even though we walked through the bush and waded the river the entire day. When I think of that day, I still laugh and smile even though it was 20 years ago.
    God bless you my friend,

There’s the happy face I remember! I used to do the nursing timekeeping at RJH in the early ’70s and Angus and I had many a friendly chat. At that time, my office was in the Administrative Annex (old nurses’ residence) and Angus would bring his pay sheets to me. His lovely accent and story telling will be etched in my memory forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family on his passing. He was a very special, intelligent man and a joy to be around.
