Anders passed away suddenly on April 3, 2009 after a brief illness.
Predeceased by his wife, Ruth, he is lovingly remembered by his beloved family: Hanne (Allan) Kuzyk, Inge (Bill) Chalk, Niels (Sylvia) Olsen and Tina (Roger) Carrier; six grandchildren, Michael (Karen) Kuzyk, Christina Kuzyk (Eric), Greg and Deanna Carrier, Marie and Julie Olsen; two great grandsons, Logan and Gavin Kuzyk; two sisters Dagny and Emmy of Denmark, as well as his extended family in Denmark.
Born May 6, 1921 in Denmark, Anders was a journeyman painter until he immigrated in 1957 to Canada with his beloved wife, Ruth. After many years as a painter he then took up his trade as a journeyman carpenter specializing in finishing. Anders enjoyed many things in life but his true passion was his family whom he loved so dearly.
A special thank you to the VGH Emergency Staff and the wonderful caring staff of 6B South.
A celebration of Anders’ life will be held at McCALL BROS. FLORAL CHAPEL, Johnson and Vancouver Streets on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon.

Dear Hanne and Inge,
Lovely memories of your Dad doing some painting on our West Saanich home, with your Mom ‘supervising’. We enjoyed many talks with both of them about their lives in Denmark before coming to Canada.
Love to you both with Deepest Sympathy,
Evelyn
