Alexander (Aleksandris) was born on June 5, 1925 in Liga, Latvia and passed away on March 4, 2020, in Victoria, BC. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, in 1993. There will be no public service.

Lyall Copeland A good friend and long time volunteer with the Saanich Peninsula Stroke Recovery Association where he opened and closed our facility, set up the rooms, built shelving and assisted in the kitchen. He will be missed.

Pat Brown A remarkable man, quiet and unassuming, willing to help wherever and whenever he could. A gentleman and a good friend who will be missed by those of us who knew him well.
Alex was a wonderful gentleman. He was an independent person with a strong sense of integrity combined with a very Alex-ish brand of humour. Alex was kind and thoughtful and trustworthy. He is missed and will forever be in our hearts.
