Dave Dash Alex and I have been friends for 63 years having met in Grade 7 at Colquitz school. Time has passed but not our friendship. Over the years we shared interests in camping, weddings, parties, time at the lake and seeing a Garth Brooks concert. We were always helping each other with projects at our respective homes. You were always there and I will miss you….Love you Dave Dash

Diane and family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. I am not sure you remember me Diane but we worked together many years ago with the Federal Government in the old Post Office building with Family Allowance & Old Age Security. I also attended yours and Alex’s wedding.
It came as quite a shock to see that Alex had passed away.
Take care Diane.

Diane, Kara, Lindsay, Barb, Kathie, and extended family: my heart goes out to all of you in the loss of a dear, loving family man, Alex. I so enjoyed visiting with all of you whenever Barb and I travelled to the Island to see everyone while on a shopping jaunt, or just to say hello and have a great pub lunch out. Alex was a charming man, he always made me laugh with his cheeky comments, and he was a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. With sincere sympathy to each of you, and sending you hugs and love.
