Clive passed away peacefully at home after a brave battle with cancer. Clive leaves to mourn his wife Linda, of 48 years; sons, Dale (Erika), Glen (Lisa), Neil (Deana) and eight grandchildren. His siblings, Vanessa (Ken) Buchan, Yorkton, SK, Timothy (Caroline), Chilliwack BC, and Peter, Vernon BC, will miss him as well.Clive was born in Calgary. The family relocated to Victoria in 1947, and he attended Sir James Douglas, Central and Victoria High Schools.For 37 years Clive was employed at Victoria Coal and Heating, retiring in 2003. The management and fellow employees remained important friends to him.A founding member of Vancouver Island Early Ford V8 Club, Clive loved classic cars and performed many frame-off restorations with help from both professionals and amateur hobbyists.Clive spent happy volunteer hours as part of the construction crew at Glendale Gardens and at Saanich Historical Artifacts Society, restoring a Doctor’s buggy.Flowers gratefully declined. A Celebration of Clive’s Life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th at 1:00 pm at Glendale Gardens & Woodland, 505 Quayle Road, Victoria.
