ROSS, William Francis "Bill" – passed away peacefully with his wife, Eleanor; and friends, Jack and Peg Jervis by his side at the Victoria General Hospital on August 25, 2008.
Predeceased by his first wife, Clare; brother, Mike and sisters, Helen and Dolly. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Margaret (Gary); and his grandchildren, Sarah and Michael. Bill is also remembered by his sisters, Marian (Ed) and Peggy; as well his nieces and nephews.
Born on April 26, 1920 in Fernie, BC. Bill’s career as a civil engineering technologist took him to a variety of places but spent most of his life in Fernie. Bill moved to Victoria in 1982 where he remained until his passing.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH, 785 Burnside Rd. W. on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
